John Lastinger Thanks Voters After Runoff Victory for SC House District 88
Pastor John Lastinger has won the Republican Primary Special Election Runoff for South Carolina House District 88.

Lastinger expressed deep gratitude to the voters and his supporters.
“Thank you to the voters of District 88 who came to the polls today,” said Lastinger. “We’re thankful for our family, friends, neighbors, and our team who stood with us. And most of all, I thank God for allowing this to happen.”
Looking ahead to the General Election, Lastinger emphasized his commitment to strengthening families in South Carolina. His guiding principle for the campaign is summed up in one word: “Reformation.”
“Reformation is about restoring what works and fixing what doesn’t. South Carolina should be a place where families thrive, government is accountable, and our values are reflected in the legislation we pass. That is the work I am committed to in the State House,” he said.
Lastinger also called for unity among Republicans as the campaign moves forward.
“We will stand united and send a clear message on the December 23 General Election that District 88 is a strong Republican district, and we have a bright future.”
