Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant in West Columbia’s Capitol Square is closing
Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant in West Columbia’s Capitol Square announced in a Facebook post that it is closing after 29 years in business, as its “lease comes to an end.” The post indicates that the owners hope to open another restaurant at some point. Jin Jin is at 469 Sunset Boulevard.
House of Raeford moved its offices from Capitol Square in the last year and the Army-Navy store and the Habitat Re-Store have closed, too. There is no other business open in Capitol Square. Part of the parking lot is a free parking spot for River District patrons going to hospitality venues like Savage Craft Ale Works, Ds Wings, and Terra.

As our lease comes to an end we believe it’s time to bring this chapter to a close……We extend our sincerest gratitude for your unwavering appreciation and love for the culinary treasures served at Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant.
……Hopefully one day we will serve this wondaful community again.”
