Jesse Torres, Josh Nabb receive LMC Foundation’s Living Well Award

Sandhills Elementary School Student Jesse Torres and Sandhills Physical Education Teacher Josh Nabb  received the Lexington Medical Center Foundation’s Living Well Award, Tuesday morning  at the Greater Cayce-West Columbia  Chamber Breakfast.

Sandhills Elementary School is in Lexington School District 4. Sandhills  Principal Lisa Evans was on hand as the awards were presented by Smokey Davis, a LMC Foundation Board member. Renee Dooley, right, of the LMC Foundation said Jesse participates in the Boys Run Hard program. She said he has displayed a great work ethic to become a leader by example. Jesse is likable and he invented a game for other students to play in P.E. class.
