Irmo Fire crews are on the scene, Tuesday morning, of a structure fire in the 100 block of Garden Path Lane. Crews from West Columbia Fire Department, Lexington County Fire and Columbia Fire Department are assisting. Click here for the video

First arriving units found heavy fire from several windows when they arrived, and fire quickly spread to the attic and through the roof. The building suffered extensive damage. There were no injuries, the building was not occupied.

Fire crews will be on scene throughout the morning dousing hot spots.

The cause is under investigation.
