Irmo Fire District units, with assistance from the Columbia Fire Department were on the scene of a residential structure fire in the 100 block of Twisted Hill Road Tuesday morning.
Fire damage was limited to one room, and the rest of the house suffered smoke damage.
There were no injuries. The house’s smoke alarms went off and the occupants made it out safely.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
