Irmo Fire District crews were on the scene of a vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a school bus on St Andrews Road. It occurred, Tuesday, in front on Irmo High School just after 3 p.m.

There were no students on the bus according to the Irmo Fire District report.

St Andrew’s Road was closed northbound at Harbison Boulevard. The crash heavily impacted the traffic flow in the area. Police asked drivers to please avoid the area and use alternate routes.
