Irmo Fire District Units responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of Berryhill Rd. early Thursday morning.

With assistance from Columbia Fire Department (SC), West Columbia Fire Department, and County of Lexington, SC Fire Department, the fire was under control in about 2 hours.

This apartment building is vacant and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Crews remained on the scene to monitor. (Irmo Fire District Photos)
