The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will close two lanes of Interstate 26 eastbound near mile marker 110 at the Leaphart Road bridge beginning at approximately 11 a.m. Friday (March 24.)

The closure is necessary because a vehicle struck the bridge earlier today. SCDOT has inspectors on site to perform temporary repairs to ensure the safety of the traveling public.

The two lanes are expected to reopen early this afternoon.
