Almost 200 single-family residential units have been planned for construction off of Methodist Park Road in West Columbia. The site stretches from the Pineview Baseball Complex to land behind the Carolina Pottery Plaza on Augusta Road. The construction of several homes is almost complete.

The homes are being built by Mungo Homes. The project, first announced in 2021, is called the Pine Crest Subdivision. Crews are on the site that is visible beside the Pineview Baseball Complex on Methodist Park Road. There is heavy machinery clearing the property to prepare it for building.
