Lexington County Fire Services units responded to an early morning house fire off Lake Murray Friday, which displaced three people.

Firefighters were dispatched to the fire in the 2100 block of Shull Avenue just after 3 a.m. Upon arrival, heavy flames could be seen coming from the home.

Water shuttle, ladder attack and hand lines were utilized to combat the fire.There were no injuries reported as a result. Unfortunately, the home suffered significant damage. The occupants were alerted to the fire after their smoke alarms woke them up.
