Brookland-Cayce won a playoff game over Waccamaw, Thursday, in dramatic fashion. It was in the second-round of the SC High School League playoffs.

With the game tied 1-1, in the bottom of the 7th inning, starting, and winning, pitcher Hayden Thomas hit a home run to win the game for the Bearcats. He also pitched a complete game.
