Gray Collegiate loses to Abbeville in high school football playoffs

In the 1st half, Gray Collegiate KZ Adams scored a 5-yard touchdown to give Gray a 10-7 lead with 2:13 left in the 2nd quarter. But by halftime Abbeville regained the lead.

Playing on the road was not good for the War Eagles. Gray was penalized for 130 yards on 12 penalties in the game.

Adams rushed for 155 yards and quarterback Tre Robinson threw for 165 yards for the War Eagles. Gray finishes the season at 8-1. The Panthers are 9-0, and will go after their 11th state title versus Marion at 5 pm Dec. 4 at Harry Parone Stadium on the campus of Spring Valley High School.
