The West Columbia City Council passed a resolution, at its meeting Monday, recognizing the Gray Collegiate Academy Varsity Competitive Cheer Team for Winning the 2023 South Carolina AA State Cheer Competition. Gray competed against 13 other teams at Colonial Life Arena on Nov. 18, to win the championship. It is Gray’s second consecutive state cheer title.
