Gray Collegiate Academy transitions to eLearning for Wednesday
Gray Collegiate Academy has continued to monitor the forecasted weather in our area. We have been in contact with local emergency preparedness organizations and schools as well. We have also received your calls, texts, emails, etc., with road closures and inclement driving conditions. Due to the increased possibility of more flooding, power outages, and impacts at our facilities and travel, we will transition to an eLearning day on Wednesday, August 7.
Teachers will post assignments by 9 am Wednesday for asynchronous learning. Asynchronous learning involves students completing assignments independently at their own pace throughout the day. Students will not have to log into live classroom instruction lessons. Students should check their email, Google Classroom, and/or Schoology for their assignments. Teachers will continue to support students during asynchronous learning by providing feedback, responding to questions, and reviewing assignments when in-person learning resumes on Thursday, August 8.
All athletic practices and/or games scheduled for Wednesday afternoon/evening have been canceled as well. The Parade of Athletes has been postponed as well.
Please continue to monitor email and social media communications for any updates.
