Mrs. Alexandria Cress Borys, 26, of Irmo, died Tuesday after being shot after a verbal altercation that occurred in the Kroger grocery store parking lot on St. Andrews Road in Irmo. Mrs. Borys was pronounced dead at the scene due to a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office. A 23-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to the alleged murder.

Mrs. Boys is described as “A beautiful woman, wonderful mother, compassionate wife, trusting friend, and so so much more. Alexandria was truly taken too soon.”

Mr. Borys is not asking for donations or financial help, but he’s collecting funds “to build a memorial for Alexandria to honor a great soul. Whether it be something small, a park installment, or wherever we can do. Thank you all for yours thoughts. Hold your loved ones close.”
