The sign reads Coming Soon – George Historic West Columbia Chapel – Funeral Home and Cremation Center – Family owned and operated.

At the bottom the sign reads: John David Thompson, Funeral Director.

Thompson’s announced in December that the funeral home would relocate all business from its West Columbia location to Lexington.
