Units from the West Columbia Fire Department and Lexington County Fire Service were on scene of an natural gas leak at the corner of Jarvis Klapman Blvd and Hendrix St.. Monday afternoon.

Dominion Energy gas were called to come in and stop the leak.
Jarvis Klapman Blvd. was temporarily closed between Greenwood Rd. and Hook Ave. while the gas line was repaired.

Motorists had to find an alternate route.
