Gamecocks beat Texas A&M for the first time ever

South Carolina defeated Texas A&M for the first time ever Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Gamecocks had lost nine in a row to the Aggies. USC jumped out to a 7-0 lead 14 seconds into the game when the Gamecocks returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. The Gamecocks were up 17-0 at one point, but A&M cut the lead to 17-14 at halftime. The Gamecocks were able to put the game away in the fourth quarter with an 80-yeard TD drive. USC is now 5-2 and A&M is 3-4.
