Former Airport and South Carolina running back Duce Staley will lead the Philadelphia Eagles.
Staley was the team’s assistant head coach.
On Sunday, it was announced that Philadelphia head coach Doug Pederson has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is asymptomatic and Staley assumed the head coaching duties inside the team facility.
Staley broke into the NFL with the Eagles. He also won a Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Eagles drafted Staley in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He has been on the staff since 2011.
