A dense fog advisory was posted for the Cayce and West Columbia are – and central South Carolina-  by the National Weather Service in Columbia Sunday morning.

Visibility was one-quarter of a mile at Columbia Metropolitan Airport at 5 a.m. The fog may become more widespread. The NWS said be aware of the foggy conditions if you have to drive.
