The United States flag Flags made its way through Cayce and West Columbia, Sunday. 

The Cayce-West Columbia Jaycees 9-11 held the club’s annual “5K for our Troops.

The run started on Court Avenue in West Columbia, a block from Riverwalk. The starting point for race, that runs down State Street into into Cayce,  was moved because parts of Riverwalk are still impassable from the October flood.

Proceeds from the event support military veterans and first responders that are coping with physical and emotional injuries resulting from their heroic service to the nation.
