Fireworks ordinances in effect for West Columbia, Cayce, Springdale, and Lexington County for July 4th

Fireworks are permitted within the City of Cayce only on July 4 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

While City administrative offices are closed for the holiday on Friday, our police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers will be serving our community throughout the holiday weekend.

A West Columbia City ordinance allows fireworks on July 4 only from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. The West Columbia Police Department reminds you to not discharge fireworks outside this time frame. To report concerns, call the West Columbia Police Department’s non-emergency line at (803) 794-0721.

Fireworks are allowed in Springdale from 9 a.m. on July 4th until midnight, July 5th.

Lexington County has noise ordinance that relates to fireworks in the unincorporated parts of Lexington:

-Fireworks can be shot off from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the fourth
-If a deputy sees anyone shooting fireworks after 11 p.m., that person could receive a noise ordinance violation ticket, which carries a fine of $150.
