Lexington County Fire Services and Irmo Fire District responded to the 200 block of Jakes Landing Road just after 4 a.m., Tuesday, in reference to a fully involved mobile home fire. The blaze had extended to a neighboring home and threatened others.

Firefighters on scene were able to save neighboring homes after extinguishing the original fire. Two mobile homes suffered significant damage, and one resident was displaced as a result. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to LCFS officials.

Fire officials were still on scene later Tuesday morning, working to clear any hots pots in the area and to determine a cause and origin of the fire.
