Feddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers opens second location in West Columbia
The ribbon was cut Tuesday at Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. It’s at 1309 Charleston Highway, West Columbia. The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce sponsored the ribbon-cutting.
“Freddy’s is a known commodity for a good meal and it’s a good restaurant,” said West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles. He also said his office is close by and he would be in to eat at Freddy’s.
C-WC Chamber Board President Lindsay Miles of Nephron Pharmaceuticals said the workforce at Nephron knows about Freddy’s and they are glad to have the restaurant in close proximity. Chamber President Tim James thanked Freddy’s for investing in the community.
Brett Rickert is the owner of Freddy’s. He also owns the location at 2879 Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia. His office is in West Columbia, too. The restaurant employs about 30 people.
