One person died in a collision between a tractor trailer and a motorcycle.  The crash occurred in Richland County on Interstate 26 near Irmo, just after 12 noon, Monday.

Traffic was backed up into Lexington County while emergency response teams cleared the scene. And I-26 West was closed at the 101 mile marker (Broad River Road), according to Lance Cpl. David Jones of the S.C. Highway Patrol.
