The SCHP is reporting that a fatal accident occurred on Corley Mill Road in Lexington County at Woodmill Way. The time of the accident was 12:48 p.m.

Lance Corporal Matt Southern of the SCHP said a 2000 Honda ran off the the road and hit a tree. He said the driver died at the scene. Southern said two juveniles were in the car and were transported to a hospital. He said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, but the juveniles were. The name of the man killed has not been released yet.

The accident is under investigation by the SCHP.
