Eleanor Siedschlag spent more than 30 years as a teacher in Lexington School District 2.
She was inducted into the Heros and Heroines Society at last Thursday’s school board meeting.

Siedschlag was the 32nd teacher to be inducted since the society began in the 1990-91 School Year.
Linda Alford-Wooten, chairwoman of the Lexington 2 Board praised Siedschlag for her care and devotion. Siedschlag retired from Claude A. Taylor Elementary School in 2010.

Dr. Bill James, Lexington 2 Superintendent characterized Siedschlag as an educator with a unique ability to relate to students and lead her peers, with kindness and professionalism.
