One person was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Lexington County.

The crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. Monday on Rocking Creek Road near Nathaniel Oxner Road, according to Trooper Tyler Tidwell od the SC Highway Patrol. He said a 2011 Toyota Forerunner was traveling east on Rocking Creek Road. The driver ran off the right side of the road, then over-corrected and ran off the left side if the road.

The vehicle overturned and the driver was ejected through the sunroof. The driver was taken to the hospital with injuries and died at the hospital said Tidwell. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, said Tidwell. The SCHP is investigating the incident.
