There was a collision at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard at Scotland Drive in Lexington, Tuesday. The road was closed for a while until it was cleared.

The collision was caused by an impaired driver who made a left turn in front of a vehicle approaching in the opposite lane, according to a report from the Lexington Police Department.

The at-fault driver was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. The driver and four occupants of the other vehicle were not injured in the collision. LPD photos.
