Divers searched Lake Murray for a missing swimmer on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The dive teams searched an area near the Lake Murray dam following a call before noon on Friday regarding the missing man.

West Columbia Police, the Irmo Fire District, and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and the SC Department of Natural Resources assisted with the search. The swimmer was part of a group on a pontoon boat.
