Did you see the Super Moon over Lexington County, Thursday night? – You can see it Friday and Saturday night, too

The “harvest moon” is rising in the night sky this week. The moon is making one of its closest approaches to Earth. It is the last super moon of 2023. The moon is at 99% illumination. It is the fourth successive super moon of this year. This month’s full moon will look 5% bigger and 13% brighter than the average full moon, according to NASA.
The super moon rises in the eastern sky. It was at its fullest Thursday night, but the super moon will be visible Friday and Saturday, too. The weather forecast for both days is clear.
