Investigators from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department were on the scene, Thursday, in the 200 block of Longs Pond Road looking into what led up to a shooting that injured a man.

Based on preliminary information they’ve gathered, shots were fired after two women and two men were fighting.

One man was shot in the upper body. He’s at the hospital receiving treatment. All signs point to this being an isolated incident among people who know each other.
