A man driving a Ford truck on U.S. 1 hit two pedestrians who were crossing the road, according to a Highway Patrol report. Both pedestrians were pronounced dead at the scene. A Toyota truck on Bush River Road struck a Ford on the driver’s side, at about 9:40 p.m., according to Jones. The Ford was turning left from Berryhill Road onto Bush River Road. The driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital and died from injuries sustained in the crash, Jones said.
The male driver the Toyota was arrested and charged with felony DUI.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the incidents.
