David Goff, Lexington 2 Teacher of the Year, recognized by West Columbia City Council
David Goff was named Lexington 2 Teacher of the Year on Aug. 2. Goff, a West Columbia native and resident, was recognized and presented with a resolution by the West Columbia City Council, Tuesday, at council’s September meeting.
Goff graduated from Lexington Two’s alternative school program and he teaches English at Lexington Two’s New Bridge Academy. Goff has devoted his career to helping struggling students in need of a second chance because of the difficulties he faced as a high school student.
Goff has a Bachelors degree, a Masters degree and he is scheduled to receive a Doctorate in December.
