Louis and James Williams have opened Crave Artisan Market at 725 Meeting St. It’s in the former Primal Gourmet building, beside the new location of Brickhouse Coffee.

West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles was in for lunch Wednesday, Crave’s first day open.

Crave specializes in regional products, artisan sandwiches, and salads made with fresh, local ingredients. Crave is known for its tomato pies, paninis, chicken pot pies, quiches, salads, and more.

There is also a Crave location in Columbia.
