The Lexington Police Department reported a collision after 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Main Street (US-1) and Park Road. Multiple lanes were closed. Police asked motorists to please be alert to emergency personnel who are in the road responding to the incident.

The site was later cleared. The collision was caused by a driver failing to stop for the red light, according to the LPD.
