The Lexington County Fire Services, EMS and the Lexington Police Department are on the scene of a hazmat spill that occurred Monday due to a collision in the 5100 block of Sunset Boulevard.  It’s the Target and Best Buy shopping center. Approximately 70-100 gallons of diesel leaked.

The S.C. department of Health and Environmental Control has been notified about the spill and are en route. Officials are asking motorists to seek an alternate route if traveling to one of the shops in the area. Lexington County Photo
