Emergency crews were on the scene after a car hit a a power pole in the 700 block of South Lake Drive in Lexington late Sunday night. The crash resulted in the blocking of South Lake Drive. Detours were set up at Railroad Avenue and South Lake Drive as well as Gibson Road and South Lake Drive. The scene was cleared around 5 a.m. The cause of the collision was excessive speeding, The driver was driving driving under suspension, according to the Lexington Police Department. (LPD photos)
