Lexington Police reported a collision, Saturday, involving multiple vehicles at the intersection of North Lake Drive (SC-6) at Old Cherokee Road. The crash caused several lanes to be closed.

All lanes reopened after about an hour.

The crash was caused by a driver who fled from a traffic stop initiated in the Town of Irmo by the Irmo Police Department. The pursuit ended when the fleeing driver lost control of the vehicle and struck several vehicles in the intersection. (LPD photos)
