There was a crash on Columbia Avenue (US-378) in Lexington Sunday afternoon, that closed lanes.

The collision, at Franks’s Car wash, was caused by a mechanical issue when a vehicle unexpectedly entered the road from a business drive away, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The Lexington Police Department reported the accident and asked drivers to proceed with caution and be the alert for emergency personnel who were on scene and in the road.
