Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of the man who was found dead near the 2600 block of Augusta Road in West Columbia on Sunday, at approximately 5 p.m.

According to Fisher, Mr. Michael Lawrence Crolley, 62, of West Columbia was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple blunt force injuries.

The West Columbia Police Department with the assistance of the State Law Enforcement Division continues to investigate the incident.
