Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher, on Wednesday, released the autopsy findings related to the death of Mr. Tao Gao. His body was recovered from a pond in the 100 block of Pale Ivy Lane, Irmo, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to Fisher, an autopsy, performed Tuesday determined that Mr. Gao’s death was due to drowning. No foul play is suspected. The body of Gao, 42, of Irmo, was recovered by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team.  The Irmo Police Department is investigating
