Coroner releases report in fatal car-pedestrian accident
An autopsy was performed on January 7th, and showed that Mr. McLeod died of massive internal injuries to the upper body. The driver of the vehicle that struck Mr. McLeod was not injured.
The Lexington Police Department is asking for anyone who may have witnessed the accident to come forward with any information they may have. Please call Major Matt Davis at 803-359-6260 to provide any information in this fatal collision.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office as well as the Lexington Police Department are continuing to investigate the accident.
