Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a single-vehicle accident. It occurred in the 600 block of West Dunbar Road in West Columbia at approximately 8:45 p.m., Thursday.

According to Fisher, Ms. Alexis Younginer, 26, of Irmo was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries. Ms. Younginer’s vehicle left the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree. She was wearing a seat belt when the incident occurred. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
