Coroner identifies man who died in Lexington County crash
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a single-vehicle accident that occurred in the 300 block of Hermitage Road, in Lexington County. The crash occurred at approximately 9:30 Wednesday night.
According to Fisher, Mr. Richard Tyler Hook, 25, of Lexington was pronounced deceased at the scene due to his injuries. Mr. Hook’s vehicle veered off of the left side of the road, collided with a utility pole, and overturned. Mr. Hook, the only occupant of the vehicle, was wearing a seat belt when the incident occurred.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
