Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the bicyclist who died after being struck by a motor vehicle, Sunday at approximately 12:35 p.m. in the 4100 block of Fish Hatchery Road.

According to Fisher, Mr. Charles Justin McCaskill, 36, of Gaston was riding his bicycle along the road when he was struck by a vehicle.

Mr. McCaskill was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, stopped at the scene. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
