The Five Points Association has postponed the annual St. Pat’s in Five Points in Columbia, due to concerns surrounding coronavirus.
Two people in South Carolina have tested positive for coronavirus, and those patients are said to be in good condition.
The Five Points Association said it has been working with Columbia Mayor Steven Benjamin and determined the best course of action and postponing the festival was the only option.
The Five Points Association thanked Benjamin and Columbia City Councilman Will Brennan for their guidance and advisement in the decision to postpone the festival. No make-up date was given.
