Columbia Greek Festival is happening
The Columbia Greek Festival began Thursday. The four-day (Thurs.-Sun.) event features Greek foods, art and culture. The mission is to raise money for the church and charities. The Columbia Greek Festival is in its 31st year. The event is free to attend.
Columbia Greek Festival hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. The festival’s hours Sunday are noon until 8 p.m.
The Columbia Greek Festival is held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, at 1931 Sumter Street in downtown Columbia.
Expect to hear live music and see traditional dances with church tours and cultural exhibits. There will also be a variety of food tents, serving cultural cuisine.
Mary Rickman and Niki Stewart are the organizers of the Columbia Greek Festival.
Parking: There is some first-come; first-served surface road parking on the surrounding streets, plus several neighboring Churches and business that rent parking spaces in their lots during the 4 days of our festival. We suggest good walking shoes, as you may have to park and walk from a couple blocks away.
Handicap Parking: Handicap parking spaces adjacent to the Main Street church are available Thursday through Sunday. This area can also accommodate a limited number of buses and vans for handicap parking.
Credit/Debit Cards: All of the gift vendors accept credit cards and MOST of our Food Booths accept credit cards. Some Food Booths are cash only.
ATMs: 3 on Greek Festival grounds.
Pets: Service animals only, please.
