Second Shift crews from the Columbia Fire Department responded after a fire broke out at California Dreaming restaurant Saturday evening.

Units responded to the restaurant on Assembly Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. Upon arrival officers on the scene quickly called for a 2nd Alarm after fire was seen from a rear section of the roof.
After establishing a water supply firefighters made entry and traced the fire to the ventilation system of the restaurant. The fire was extinguished.

The restaurant had employees and customers inside at the time but everyone was evacuated safely and there were no injuries. CFD Photos
