Cold Weather Advisory issued for all of Lexington County Sunday night and Monday night

A Cold Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service-Columbia is in effect for Sunday night into Monday morning, and includes all of Lexington County.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the teens Sunday night, and with the wind chill it could feel like single digits, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will get up to the upper 30s or lower 40s Monday under sunny skies.

Expect another hard freeze Monday night, with not as bad a wind chill, with temperatures in the lower 20s. Temperatures are forecast to be in the 50s by Tuesday afternoon and the 60s for the rest of the week.

From the NWS: Uninsulated pipes may freeze or burst. Do not use grills or heat sources which emit carbon monoxide inside.
